Football Flick and The Savage Foundation
Football Flick is delighted to announce an exciting partnership with The Savage Foundation. The partnership sees Football Flick become ‘Official Training Equipment Partner’ to the foundation in an initial 3-year agreement.
The Savage Foundation, a Community Interest Company, is dedicated to delivering former Wales International Robbie Savage’s passionate belief that all youngsters should be able to access free grassroots football regardless of their background or ability, with the aim that no child should be disadvantaged.
Every Tuesday between 4pm-6:30pm, any child from within the Macclesfield & District area, aged 5 – 12 years can apply to enjoy free coaching sessions at Macclesfield Football Club, delivered by dedicated volunteer coaches. Players also have the opportunity to attend educational classes and homework clubs, whilst also being given the chance to compete in a new Saturday Community League which is set to launch later this year.
Today’s announcement sees Football Flick becoming ‘Official Training Equipment Partner’ and ensures every child who attends the sessions will have the opportunity to train with the world’s number 1 football training range. Football Flick have committed to supporting all current and future Savage Foundation outlets and are expecting to donate more than 3,000 pieces of equipment over the next 3 years.
Speaking about the partnership Gareth Hodskinson, CEO, Football Flick said, “When we began discussions with the Savage Foundation it was instantly clear that our purpose and values were very closely aligned. We always aim to develop the best football training equipment, but crucially we want to make our equipment accessible to as many people as possible. We know how important team sports such as football can be to physical and mental health, particularly of children, so we’re delighted to be able to reach thousands of these children via the Savage Foundation”
Further to this, Robbie Savage stated: “On behalf of everyone at The Savage Foundation, I would like to welcome Football Flick and thank them for the valuable support that they have shown us.

As a coach at the Savage Foundation I just wanted to say thanks from the kids for the Flick equipment. My group loved using the tunnels in their drills and seemed to enjoy their session much more.
