Top 5 Premier League Future Talents

Lewis Miley

The Newcastle United midfielder has broken through up the North East this year. The 17 year old has starred in many games this year, even playing 17 games in the league and 3 times in the Champions League. At 17 he has world class potential, Newcastle have the funds and support to keep a player of his calibre.

Miley who has a slight figure still manages to get himself around the pitch and dominate midfields on his own. With a very delicate touch and brilliant passing and dribbling he has all the attributes for Newcastle to build the team around him.

Rico Lewis

Another Manchester City graduate who has gone on to play for England is Rico Lewis. The young midfielder/defender is the perfect fit for Guardiola and his way of playing. Playing the inverted full back role on many occasions has given City extra options in the full back role.

Cancelo who was classed as one of the best full backs in Europe however, Guadiola saw Lewis rising through the ranks and decided to let Cancelo go. Lewis has also been called up for England and impressed Southgate and is a strong contender for the Euro squad.

Kobbie Mainoo

Mainoo has arguably been the biggest breakthrough talent in the 2023/24 season. Outperforming most of Manchester United’s midfield Mainoo has cemented himself as the first midfielder on the team sheet. Mainoo has been called up for England and got man of the match, putting himself in serious contention for the Euro’s squad.

Manchester United will aim to build their squad around the young Englishman as he is expected to be an incredible talent and is arguably Manchester United’s best performer each week.

Oscar Bobb

Manchester City have been well known for their incredible youth setup. In more recent times they have been known to sell some of their youth players to fund signings of world class players. A good example of this is Cole Palmer as he was sold to Chelsea on transfer deadline last summer to balance the books for the Premier League champions.

Palmer has gone on to do great things for Chelsea however, it also meant that other youth players could go onto compete in the first team. Not many people break into the City starting line up although Oscar Bobb has managed to crack the code playing 12 times in the Premier League, 4 times in the Champions League and once in the League Cup. Oscar Bobb was part of many in the Manchester City academy who enjoyed using our Pro Skills Trainer.

Morgan Rogers

Rogers recently hit the headlines when he scored an excellent goal against Pochettino’s Chelsea. Then he hit Cole Palmer's so-called ‘celebration’. Rogers went on to express that he and Palmer are very good friends and he used the Celebration before Palmer. He will hope to carry on his incredible form into the final few games and beyond!

Rogers who’s breakthrough season at Middlesbrough earned him a move to Premier League team Aston Villa. Many believed this signing would be one for the future as Rogers Villa are fighting for the Champions League.

Well, this has been far from the truth, Emery has put Rogers into the starting lineup many times, since Rogers was signed from Villa in January he has played 8 times scoring once against Brentford also picking up one assist.

Rogers has participated in the Pro vs Pro challenge when he was playing at Blackpool FC with former teammate Lewis Fiorini. He will hope to break as a regular first team starter for Aston Villa as they could be competing in the Champions League next year.
